You ever spend SO much time on a mani, but when you're done it doesn't come out as you'd pictured and you're just not happy with it? Well that's this mani for me. I spent probably an hour painting all the details on JUST my left hand, and I'm not happy with this...but it's one of those times where I spent so long on it, I want to at least post it.
I started with two coats of China Glaze Caribbean Blue - a medium blue shimmery polish. Applied perfectly -- a little thick but nothing I can't manage.
Stupid macro setting...didn't realize how dry my cuticles were until I saw this :P |
I then drew on all the little details with acrylic paint and teeny tiny paintbrushes. This is the picture I looked off:
Oh wells. We can't like them all! I'll probably sit down and redo these tonight (last night as you guys are reading this...)

How can you not love these?! These are seriously gorgeous! I love them!!
ReplyDeleteBut I do know how it is to have something else pictured, and then nothing is good enough if it doesn't look like it :p
This is so cute! I love the little flower things. I know what you mean though, I always end up doing my nails, then I have to add something to it, whatever it may be, glitter, stamping....something. And I then realize I liked how it looked before. I don't have the patience for intricate nail designs like this though.
ReplyDeletethey're sooooooooooooooo cute!!! you should love this mani, absolutely!!!

ReplyDeleteI love these! I think they look great. I know what you mean, though. I am always my harshest critic; I notice little flaws that no one else ever sees.
