I'm pretty pleased with today's manicure. I wanted to do some nail art because I haven't done that in a while. This has been on my to-do list for a while and I'm working late today so I decided today was the day!
I started with a base coat of Wet n Wild Everyone Loves Redmond Fastdry and let that dry thoroughly (2 coats). This polish is a little on the thin side but flowed on very well with decent coverage.
Then I stamped the black fishnet design using plate M57 and Wet n Wild Black Creme. I used a small brush to add wide stripes down the sides of my nails for the sides of the corset and let that dry. I then used a medium sized dotting tool to make the white dots down the sides of the corset using Pure Ice Superstar. The last step was using a small brush to draw in the ties using the black creme. Here is the finished result..
So what do you think? Would you ever wear this mani?
These look super sexy. Nicely done Melissa :-)

ReplyDeletem57 is that a KONAD plate? I have some replica plates-and bundle monster but dont remember ever seeing anything THIS cool! I must have this!
ReplyDelete@Fingers -- m57 is only the fishnet pattern used over the red base. Everything else was free handed :)
ReplyDeleteNo I get that- but is that an actual Konad plate or a replica?
ReplyDeleteIt's a konad plate (I have it, but there is a seller on amazon that sells 25 konad brand plates for cheap. I assumed they'd be imitations and was pleasantly surprised when they were konad plates!)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, yes I would wear this! In fact, I am going to right now. I was about to use that very plate and design to imitate snakeskin, but this is way more fun. This image posted on a tumblr is what led me to your blog!
